Wynwood

Those looking for a unique night away from South Beach should head to Wynwood for a true local experience. The artsy and creative community features a range of galleries, trendy restaurants, low-key bars, and some of the best art installations in the area. The popular (and free!) Wynwood Art Walk is held the second Saturday of each month and attracts thousands of people to the area for an art experience unlike any other.

Miami Design District

There are plenty of places to shop in Miami, but those looking for an untra-luxe experience go to the Miami Design District. Home to some of the most well-known designer storefronts in the world such as Christian Louboutin, Giorgio Armani and Emilio Pucci, it isn't unusual for shoppers to stumble across a high-fashion photoshoot or run into a celebrity as they walk through the neighborhood. The area also features top home design showrooms, various art galleries and local restaurants.
